  Don't park in their parking lot! We parked there thinking it would be a safe place for about 5 Hrs. while attending the State Fair with my Grandchildren and son. I a retired UM Pastor and only had a car towed from the church parking lot once in 30 Yrs. and it had beem abaondon for about a week, not 5 Hrs.!! The church has only 3 small signs on only 3 parking spots near the building (pastors spots appearently and nowhere else in the whole lot and no general sign prohihiting parking) we did not see the signs as their were not nears where we parked. We saw the signs upon our return when we discovered our car was gone! We had no idea where it was. The chrurch has no signs about where a car would be towed (I have been told that's a code requirement and certainly a proper thing to do). Here I was with my 3 grandchildren and son who needs that car and a way to get to Greenfield and we live in Cloverdale and no car. We didn't know what to do or who to call (felt totally lost)! We called the police and several towing companies with no results. We filed a police report thinking surely a church wouldn't tow a car from an empty parking lot except 3 church vans on a Saturday that had been there for only about 5 Hrs. and it must have been stolen. I had to drive my son and grandchildren to Greenfield (they of course had no car over night for emergences, etc). We received a call from the police dept. at 12:30 PM telling us that they found it had been towed. Finally we knew where our car was! This was the worse night of feeling hopeless and lost without a car and 3 grandchildren who needed to get home. All the church had to do was check with police to see if it was stolen (and it wasn't) and simplly see if it was picked up by the morning! That would have been the Christian and Loving thing to do!!! We don't know anything about this church and hope this was the actions of only one church member (as the towing company told us). Our son who is not a Christian was so outraged against the church. He stated "this is another example of what Christians to."
