  My family of approximately 100 visited with Charity Missionary Baptist Church in March of 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed the service. The subject of the message being "Are you in the Out crowd or the In crowd?" He word was made plain for all in attendance. The service was so powerful our youth in the family wanted to attend every Sunday possible. They wanted their own home churches to have service like that. We are a family that celebrates the memory of our deceased father and sister, yearly for the past 10 years. We come from all parts of the Midwest and east coast. The hospitality shown us was outstanding, warm and kindly affectionate. Thank God for directing us to Charity and we are forever grateful. Should we visit Charleston at any other time we are sure to visit Charity Missionary Baptist Church. Thank you to Pastor Rivers and the entire congregation for being a blessing to us.
